7. Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire - £1.65 (100g) Good Lancashire is one of Britain’s most underrated cheeses. Made from unpasteurised cow’s milk at Lower Beesley Farm near Goosnargh, this is considered by many to be its supreme example, a rich, crumbly cheese, with moist, creamy texture and a tangy, lemony flavour. 9. Berkswell - £2.60 (100g) This is made from unpasteurised ewe’s milk at Ram Hall, near the ancient village of Berkswell on the outskirts of Coventry. The result is a firm cheese, in a distinctive orange cartwheel shape with a fruity taste, that’s sometimes pineappley and nutty.
