1. Megafobia Oakwood, Pembrokeshire

1. Megafobia Oakwood, Pembrokeshire

Megafobia opened in 1996 and it's the first wooden rollercoaster in the UK for many years. It's in the classic style but with modern technology. You get on smiling and get off laughing.

2. Nemesis Alton Towers
Opened in 1994, Nemesis is the only underground rollercoaster – they dug the ride down into the ground, so as you come round the corners you come close to the rock faces, which adds to the thrill and the fear factor.

3. Stealth Thorpe Park
The thing about Stealth is the launch, which takes you from 0-80mph in just over two seconds. You sit down, the lights go green, and Bam! There’s a 200ft drop, but you’re still recovering from the launch at that stage.
